The short version
- Information on this site is general. It is not a substitute for a plumber looking at your home.
- Online estimates and ballpark prices are approximate and not binding. Your written, upfront price is what counts.
- We can document leaks and water damage for your insurer, but your insurance company decides your claim.
- If you smell gas, leave first and call 911 or your gas company from outside. If water is spraying, shut off the main valve.
1. General information only
The content on www.callowayplumbing.example, including descriptions of plumbing systems, pipe materials, water heaters, water quality, lifespans, costs and repair methods, is general information provided for convenience. Every home, plumbing system and water supply is different. Nothing on the Site is professional advice for your specific property, and it is not a substitute for an in-person evaluation by a qualified, licensed plumbing contractor. Do not make decisions about your plumbing based only on the Site.
2. Estimates, measurements and ballpark prices
Fixture counts, pipe lengths and price ranges shown by our quote form are calculated automatically from the answers you give and typical assumptions. They are approximate and may differ significantly from your actual price because of the layout of your home, access to pipes in walls, ceilings, attics and under slabs, pipe materials, venting and gas line sizing, code upgrades such as seismic straps and expansion tanks, permits, drywall repair and other conditions we can only confirm on site.
These figures are not offers, bids, quotes or guarantees. Prices are binding only in a written estimate and a contract signed by you and us. Displayed prices do not include taxes, permit fees or repairs found during the work unless stated in your contract.
3. Insurance claims
We can document leaks and water damage, prepare photos, invoices and estimates, and talk with your adjuster when you ask us to. We are a plumbing contractor, not an insurance company, insurance agent, attorney or public adjuster, and we do not negotiate or settle claims on your behalf beyond what the law allows. Your insurance company alone decides whether damage is covered and how much it pays, and we cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved or the amount of any payment.
You are responsible for your deductible and for any work not covered by your insurer. We do not pay, waive or rebate insurance deductibles, and many states prohibit contractors from doing so. Please review your policy and contact your insurer or a licensed professional with coverage questions.
4. Products, ratings and warranties
Specifications such as water heater efficiency ratings, recovery rates, flow rates, pressure ratings and expected lifespans come from manufacturers and reflect testing under specific conditions. They are not guarantees of performance in your home, which depends on your water quality, pressure, use and maintenance. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturers, subject to their terms, eligibility and registration requirements. Our workmanship warranty is described only in your written contract.
5. Photos, drawings and illustrations
Project photos show our work unless they are labeled otherwise. Some images on the Site, including the painted plumbing scenes, the plumbing riser drawing, diagrams, animations and background imagery, are illustrations or computer-generated and do not show a specific customer’s property. Results vary with each property’s materials, condition and design.
6. Reviews and results
Reviews and testimonials are the opinions of individual customers about their own projects. They are not a promise that your project will have the same cost, timeline or outcome. Statistics on the Site, such as numbers of jobs completed, arrival times or average ratings, are approximate and as of the date they were last updated.
7. Safety
Gas: if you smell gas, leave the building right away. Do not use light switches, phones or anything that could make a spark inside. Call 911 or your gas company from outside, and call us only after it has been made safe.
Water: if water is leaking or spraying, shut off your main water valve if you can do so safely, keep people and pets away from wet areas, and do not touch electrical outlets, appliances or panels that are wet. Turn off power to affected areas only if you can reach the breaker without standing in water. If there is any risk of collapse, fire or electrical hazard, leave and call 911.
Water heaters and sewage: water heaters can scald and their relief valves can discharge suddenly; sewage backups carry bacteria. Leave both to a professional.
Emergency service is offered subject to plumber availability and safe access, and arrival times are goals rather than guarantees.
8. Financing
Financing is offered by third-party lenders, subject to credit approval and the lender’s terms. We are not a lender. Payment examples, if shown, are for illustration only. Your loan terms will be provided by the lender.
9. Licensing
Calloway Plumbing Co. holds CA Lic. #000000 (C-36). You can verify any contractor’s license with the Contractors State License Board at www.cslb.ca.gov. License, bonding and insurance details may change; ask us for current certificates before work begins.
10. No contract until signed
Visiting the Site, submitting a quote request or communicating with us does not create a contract or a contractor-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and we sign a written contract.
11. Outside links
Links to other websites, manufacturers, lenders or review platforms are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or accuracy.
12. Our Terms apply
This Disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service, including its disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability. If anything here conflicts with a written contract you have signed with us, the contract controls.
