The short version

  • Information on this site is general. It is not a substitute for an in-person inspection of your roof.
  • Online estimates and ballpark prices are approximate and not binding. Your written estimate after an inspection is what counts.
  • We can document storm damage and work with your adjuster, but your insurance company decides your claim.
  • Please don't climb onto your roof. Call us instead.

1. General information only

The content on www.halversonroofing.example, including descriptions of roof systems, materials, lifespans, ratings, costs and repair methods, is general information provided for convenience. Every roof, building and site is different. Nothing on the Site is professional advice for your specific property, and it is not a substitute for an in-person inspection by a qualified, licensed roofing contractor. Do not make decisions about your roof based only on the Site.

2. Estimates, measurements and ballpark prices

Roof size, square counts and price ranges shown by our quote form are calculated automatically from the answers you give and typical assumptions. They are approximate and may differ significantly from your actual price because of measurements, roof pitch and complexity, number of layers to remove, decking and structural condition, ventilation and code requirements, permits, materials, access, HOA requirements and other conditions we can only confirm on site.

These figures are not offers, bids, quotes or guarantees. Prices are binding only in a written estimate and a contract signed by you and us. Displayed prices do not include taxes, permit fees or repairs found during the work unless stated in your contract.

3. Insurance claims

We can inspect and document storm damage, prepare photos and estimates, and meet your adjuster when you ask us to. We are a roofing contractor, not an insurance company, insurance agent, attorney or public adjuster, and we do not negotiate or settle claims on your behalf beyond what the law allows. Your insurance company alone decides whether damage is covered and how much it pays, and we cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved or the amount of any payment.

You are responsible for your deductible and for any work not covered by your insurer. We do not pay, waive or rebate insurance deductibles, and many states prohibit contractors from doing so. Please review your policy and contact your insurer or a licensed professional with coverage questions.

4. Products, ratings and warranties

Material specifications such as wind ratings, impact ratings, fire ratings, energy ratings and lifespans come from manufacturers and reflect testing under specific conditions. They are not guarantees that a roof will withstand every storm, impact or fire. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturers, subject to their terms, eligibility and registration requirements. Our workmanship warranty is described only in your written contract.

5. Photos, drawings and illustrations

Project photos show our work unless they are labeled otherwise. Some images on the Site, including roof textures, the roof cutaway drawing, diagrams, animations and background imagery, are illustrations or computer-generated and do not show a specific customer’s property. Results vary with each property’s materials, condition and design.

6. Reviews and results

Reviews and testimonials are the opinions of individual customers about their own projects. They are not a promise that your project will have the same cost, timeline or outcome. Statistics on the Site, such as numbers of roofs completed or average ratings, are approximate and as of the date they were last updated.

7. Safety

Roofs are dangerous. Please do not climb onto your roof to inspect damage, take photos or make repairs. Take photos from the ground or from a window. If you have an active leak, keep people and pets away from wet areas, turn off electricity to affected areas if it is safe to do so, and call us. If there is any risk of collapse, fire or electrical hazard, leave the building and call 911.

Emergency services such as tarping are offered subject to crew availability, weather and safe access, and response times are goals rather than guarantees.

8. Financing

Financing is offered by third-party lenders, subject to credit approval and the lender’s terms. We are not a lender. Payment examples, if shown, are for illustration only. Your loan terms will be provided by the lender.

9. Licensing

Halverson Roofing Co. holds CA Lic. #000000. You can verify any contractor’s license with the Contractors State License Board at www.cslb.ca.gov. License, bonding and insurance details may change; ask us for current certificates before work begins.

10. No contract until signed

Visiting the Site, submitting a quote request or communicating with us does not create a contract or a contractor-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and we sign a written contract.

12. Our Terms apply

This Disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service, including its disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability. If anything here conflicts with a written contract you have signed with us, the contract controls.
